Km 0 : Prendre direction Ouest (cap 274°) jusqu'au Km 5,7. Terrain légèrement caillouteux.
Km 5,7 : Ruines et petit village de Merdani. Prendre direction O/NO (cap 299°) jusqu'à l'arrivée.
Km 5,9 : Traversée de l'oued Honklafhin. Sable.
Km 6,5 : Sortie d'oued. Terrain caillouteux.
Km 7,5 : Prendre le cap 299° pour traverser l'erg Merzouga.
Km 11,8 : Château d'eau. Arrivée.
