Cancer Research UK back 25/02/2008 Simon HOLDEN (GB- D 732) is running the MdS this year in an attempt to raise £10,000 for Cancer Research UK The challenge is an extreme one and personally driven by a desire to raise as much money as he can for Cancer Research UK. This desire is driven by many factors: he have recently witnessed his mother survive cheerfully and positively a mastectomy. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.
