Markus Schar and Joshua Kennedy White live in Australia and will run the 23rd MDS for a good cause. They want to use their time and efforts in training for this race as worthwhile as possible and decided to raise money to help people around the world to regain their eyesight.

Around 50% of blindness in the world is caused by cataracts. This can be overcome with a relatively simple operation taking approximately 20 minutes and costing as little as AUD 25.00.

Their goal is to reach the finishing line in Morocco knowing that all our efforts have saved at least 600 people's vision.

To reach their goal, they need your support to run the 3000 km each for their training and to finish the MDS. You can help by buying 'Km-Shares' at AUD 25.00 each and save someone's eyesight in the process.
