THEOLIA, producer of electricity using
renewable energies is participating once more this year in
that wonderful human and sporting adventure called MARATHON
DES SABLES. The endurance race brings together values shared
by THEOLIA, values deeply anchored in respect for the environment,
solidarity and an international spirit.
But THEOLIA does not limit itself to being one of the major
financial partners in this legendary footrace in the south
Moroccan Sahara. Spurred on by CEO Jean-Marie Santander,
the Group has also opted for human commitment by enrolling
15 of the company’s staff. THEOLIA is putting 3 teams on
the start of this 23rd edition of the Marathon des Sables
: 1 team of professionals and 2 teams of staff from the Group
and its subsidiaries notably runners from THEOLIA EMERGING
MARKETS. This subsidiary based in Casablanca deals specifically
with emerging countries: India, Brazil, some east European
countries and Morocco.
The Marathon des Sables draws more than 30 countries and
requires each competitor show courage, willpower, solidarity,
good management of resources and energy. These demands perfectly
illustrate the technical and civic commitment of the THEOLIA
group, one of the European leaders in electricity production
from renewables and a major actor in teaching the importance
of renewable energies through sporting and humanist actions.
THEOLIA is present in France, Germany, Spain, Greece, Italy
and several emerging countries : India, Brazil, some east
European countries and Morocco.
