| Laurie Andrews (465)
and Michele Jensen (500), positive |
Those two charming American
ladies share the same coach and are both running
their first MDS. Laurie came here “to discover
Morocco”. She calmly explains how she takes
in the desert, the landscapes, how she’s making
the most of each second, how the long stage was one
of the most beautiful days of her life – and
seeing her smile, one does believe her. Michele is
fascinated by the cultural diversity of the bivouac.
She was sick for a couple of days, but held on, and
made an amazing come back, causing great admiration
amongst her tent-mates. None but them knew how sick
she was, and Michele did not look for sympathy.
Indeed, Laurie and Michele are all positive energy.
