Succession guaranteed.

The Ginter family is crazy about the Marathon des Sables. Christian (FRA-D22), the father, is participating in his 22nd edition. A participation record with, moreover, consistently successful rankings. As he says himself “this has become an obsession”.
Anthony has now caught the virus. Participating in the race for the 3rd time, at 26 years old, he is in the top 30 at the end of this second stage. Moving up the rankings is a real challenge for him following his 63rd place in 2007.
He finishes 34th today, with painful cramps in his legs, but appears delighted to be in the bivouac beginning to prepare for tomorrow’s long stage.
For this preparation, he will have to wait for his personal coach, his father, to return to the bivouac in order to be on top form for tomorrow. He can certainly put his trust in Christian, given his experience.
