The difficulty of this stage is not enough to wipe out the large smiles worn by Amélia and Helen: “we came for the challenge and here it is! We’re very excited!”. Thus the tone is set 10 minutes from the start of this third stage... These two young Londoners are getting ready for a day which will be exhausting, no doubt, but unforgettable! They have already put their names down for this unprecedented challenge: 91km of desert – a record in 24 years of the Marathon!
