Taking part in the Marathon des Sables requires meticulous and rigorous preparation. A lesson in food self-sufficiency, choosing and managing what you eat in the several days of the event is an essential issue. Kiran was forced to pull out during the exhausting third stage; just to point out, this young 27 year old competitor is... vegetarian. On the menu for this 24th edition was “Mediterranean-style pasta, freeze-dried vegetables, strawberries and pudding... I assure you, it can be really tasty!” One thing is certain, for the first time he is taking part in this competition,Kiran has shown himself to have a huge appetite devouring the kilometres of track. A sporting feat to be savoured without moderation!
