The taste for adventure knows no boundaries. Situated on the other side of the world to Morocco, New Zealand is proudly represented in this 24th edition by Robert and Nikolai. The motivations leading these two “kiwis” to take on this incredible sporting and human experience are varied: “the adventure and the challenge!” stresses Robert; “supporting the Plan Australia association” replies Nikolaï. Here and now, these runners will need physical ardour and mental strength if they want to breach the 91km separating them from their achievement. When their bodies are too worn out and are no longer responding, the runners’ motivation for a good cause will take over. “Ka Mate Ka Mate, Ka Ora Ka Ora!?”; we hope that these sportsmen will have enough little strength left for an improvised Haka at the finish line!
