Philippe Thomas (FRA-D288), Gilles Gabrielli (FRA-D287), Nassim Karim El Idrissi (FRA-D289) Philippe is participating in his second MDS. Last year he ran solo for the J. Lejeune foundation. This year he has succeeded in persuading a habitual offender, Gilles and a “little new boy”, Nassim. Gilles participated in 2008 wearing GSPR (Security Group for the Presidency of the Republic) colours for Abdelatif Benazzi’s association, NOOR. Gilles and Nassim, policemen from the Raid section, an elite National Police unit, have assigned themselves ambitious goals. Gilles, who is part of the GSPR, completes this trio of Police officers. The objective this year is to increase awareness of the foundation and raise funds. As Philippe states, “we want to do better than last year, both in terms of rankings and in terms of money raised”. Last year he finished in 82nd place. Today he is in 55th. They must have raised much more than the 5,000 Euros in 2008 then!
