STAGE N°1 : ERG CHEBBI / ERG ZNAIGUI – 31,6 Km
Km 0 : Go S/E (bearing 124°) to reach dunes. Sandy.
Km 1,5 : Beginning of dunes. Bearing 131° to cross erg Chebbi. Dunes.
Km 14 : CP1 at end of dunes. Follow markings to reach cairn at km 14.7. Cross uneven wadi. (Tamarisk trees and grass for camel grazing).
Km 14,7 : From the cairn, go S/SE (bearing161°) to reach CP2. Plateau ± stony and hilly in parts.
Km 16,7 : Cross big track, same bearing.
Km 22,7 : Cross big track, same bearing.
Km 24 : CP2 between small hills. Go South (bearing183°) until erg Znaïgui dunes.
Km 27,9 : Cross Khnag wadi (bearing 183°). Sand, small dunes and vegetation (grazing for camels).
Km 28,5 : End of wadi. Keep same direction. Terrain is not very stony.
Km 29,1 : Beginning of dunes. Take bearing 206° to cross erg Znaïgui. Dunes.
Km 31,6 : End of erg. Bivouac n°2 is here.
