Slightly stony plateau. Keep same direction.

Cross wide track.
Km 10,3 :
Cross wide track.

Cross wadi. Bumps and wadi-type vegetation.
Km 12,1 :
CP1 near trees. Go S/W (bearing 224°).

Cross several big tracks. Undulating terrain for 1km.

Km 22 : End of salt flats. Edge of Ziz wadi. Slight change of
bearing : 296° to cross
wadi.
Km 22,3 :
BEWARE ! Big crevasse in wadi. Difficult passage.
Km 23,6 :
Leave wadi. Packed earth, grazing for camels, tamarisks.
Km 24 :
CP2 at foot of small dunes. Go S/W (bearing 231°) until Km 30.2, cross the
dune and aim for end of small hill on your right. Sandy terrain, grass for camel
grazing.
Km 25,5 : End-point of hill on your right, after crossing track.
Packed earth ± uneven.
Km 30,2 :
End-point of hill on your right. Packed earth.
Km 31,5 :
Track between fields of crops.
Km 32,4 : Jdaid cooperative, go towards your left to reach CP3
at foot of El Habet jebel.
Km 33,5 :
CP3. 300m climb to over El Habet jebel.
Km 34 : Foot of jebel, follow small path on side of jebel on
your left.
Km 34,7 : Small track. After the pass, go down into the valley.
Terrain alternates between
branches of wadi and stony ground.
Km 36,5 :
Cross track. Terrain is less stony.
Km 38 :
Finish line. Bivouac n°3. |
